Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a keyboard, a screen reader, voice input, or reduced-motion settings. We've built it to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
What we've done
Semantic HTML5 landmarks and a real heading order on every page. Visible keyboard focus states throughout, with a skip-to-content link. Every image carries meaningful alt text, or an empty alt if it's decorative. Every form field has a real, associated label. Text colour against its background meets or exceeds the WCAG contrast minimums. Scroll and reveal animations respect prefers-reduced-motion and can be turned off at the system level.
Reporting a problem
If you find something on this site that you can't access, or that doesn't work the way you'd expect with assistive technology, email hello@harrowandvale.com and tell us the page and what happened. We'll get back to you within one working day.
